Workplace Operations Partner

Location: New York, USA; hybrid. New hires spend 3 days per week in the New York office during their first 6 months, followed by at least 2 days per week in the office.

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Run the New York workplace, including the office, facilities, suppliers, services and events.
• Support People Operations across onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, benefits and local compliance.
• Act as a local point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day People matters.
• Build expertise in US employment practices and advise global People teams on local ways of working.
• Partner with Finance on expenses, accounting administration and supplier management.
• Identify gaps, simplify processes and take ownership of operational problems as the New York team grows.

Requirements

• Experience in a broad People, Workplace and Operations role.
• Experience with People and Workplace Operations, employee lifecycle processes, office management and supplier coordination.
• Knowledge of US employment practices.
• Experience supporting managers and employees with practical judgement and empathy.
• Experience building and improving processes in a growing or changing environment.
• Experience with operational Finance activities such as expenses, accounting administration and supplier management.
