TL;DR
Contract Accounts Payable Manager (Ramp/Navan): Managing expense reports, travel spend, AP bills, vendor payments, and reconciliations for a SaaS company with an accent on policy enforcement, accurate coding, and exception management. Focus on driving the exception queue to zero, identifying duplicate invoices and mismatched amounts, and documenting process improvements during a six-month contract.
Location: Americas Remote
Compensation: $45–60/hr USD for an estimated six-month contract.

What you will do
- Manage Ramp expense operations end to end, including reviewing, coding, and approving expense reports, collecting missing receipts, and enforcing policy compliance.
- Administer Navan travel activity, reconcile bookings and spending, flag policy exceptions, and support out-of-policy approvals.
- Review AP bills for accurate coding and approval routing, identifying duplicate invoices and mismatched amounts.
- Reconcile Ramp and Navan activity against the general ledger and clear exceptions before each close.
- Act as the vendor point of contact for payment details, payment status, and disputes.
- Identify recurring travel and expense issues and document process improvements.
Requirements
- At least three years of accounts payable and travel-and-expense experience, ideally in SaaS or a high-growth environment.
- Hands-on experience with Ramp and/or Navan, or comparable tools such as Concur, Expensify, or TravelPerk.
- Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of expense policy enforcement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage recurring, deadline-driven work.
- English proficiency at a professional working level is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
- Experience in a SaaS or high-growth environment.
