People Operations Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Partner with the People & Talent Team to identify high-impact AI and automation opportunities.
• Build a scalable, AI-first onboarding experience and automate manual People workflows.
• Develop AI agents and workflows that answer questions, gather information, initiate processes, and complete defined actions.
• Integrate AI systems with HRIS, Slack, recruiting, performance, compensation, and other internal tools.
• Prototype quickly, test with real users, measure outcomes, and iterate on solutions.
• Establish human-in-the-loop controls, permissions, escalation paths, and safeguards for sensitive workflows while partnering with Engineering and IT on productionization.

Requirements

• Early-career engineering experience with a strong interest in building practical systems.
• Comfort using and experimenting with AI tools and integrating AI into everyday workflows.
• Ability to work with AI, automation, APIs, internal tools, and agent-based workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with People, Engineering, IT, and other functions on secure and scalable solutions.
• Willingness to work in a rapidly changing environment and continuously learn.
