Automotive Senior Technician

Location: 598739 Woodruff, United States; on-site automotive service role. Employment eligibility requires completion of Form I-9, and temporary work authorization or sponsorship needs may disqualify candidates.

Pay range: $18.54–$31.63 per hour through a performance-based flat-rate compensation model.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air-conditioning, and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to customers without mechanical expertise.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist with and train other technicians and mechanics.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certification in at least three of the A1–A8 areas within the first two years.

Requirements

• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skills in brake and hydraulic systems, and/or steering, suspension, and alignments.
• Experience with general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state, and local certifications or licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people, along with reading, writing, and math skills.

Nice to have

• Three years of automotive repair experience, relevant third-party assessments or certifications, or completion of a vocational-technical program.
• ASE certification in at least one A1–A8 area; L1 certification is also acceptable.
