Lab Technician 1 (Environmental Testing)

Location: Lexington, Virginia, United States; onsite laboratory work

Salary: $15.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support sample preservation, preparation, processing, and related laboratory activities.
• Maintain and update laboratory documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on laboratory support policies, programs, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a laboratory or office setting and stand for extended periods while conducting tests.
• Ability to work around strong smells and handle samples while wearing provided personal protective equipment, including a lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves.
• Laboratory or environmental testing experience is preferred but not required.
