Focus on coordinating inspections and work orders, managing escalated resident concerns, reconciling accounts receivable, and executing high-volume move-out and turnover activities.

Location: Element Downtown, 1221 E Walnut St., Columbia, Missouri, United States; work is performed at the assigned property. Daytime business hours are expected, with additional non-traditional hours during peak periods and emergencies. Periodic travel may be required.

What you will do

  • Support the General Manager with daily property operations, staff leadership, hiring, training, coaching, and retention.
  • Manage resident accounts, utility billing, accounts receivable, audits, notices, collections, and eviction-related documentation.
  • Maintain safe, sanitary, and compliant facilities through property walks, inspections, preventative maintenance, and vendor coordination.
  • Help plan and execute annual student housing turnover, including move-out inspections, damage assessments, billing, unit preparation, furniture and appliance moves, and cleaning coordination.
  • Support customer experience, resident communications, reputation management, marketing initiatives, and resolution of escalated concerns.
  • Monitor KPIs and assist with month-end reporting, account reconciliation, leasing velocity, market rates, concessions, and revenue goals.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience working in living communities or property management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency with property management systems; Entrata experience is preferred.
  • Working eligibility in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Availability for daytime business hours, additional non-traditional hours during peak periods and emergencies, and periodic travel.
