Medical Assistant (MA)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. Full-time onsite role at a health center with four 10-hour shifts rotating Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Interview patients and measure vital signs, including pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and clean and sterilize instruments.
• Administer medications and injections, perform laboratory tests, operate EKGs, and use other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations.
• Support front-desk administration, appointment scheduling, follow-up calls, and medical-supply ordering.

Requirements

• National Medical Assisting certification from a hirify.global-approved organization, or a certificate/diploma and transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with a completed and passed hands-on externship; fully online courses are not accepted.
• Current hands-on Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent organization is required.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
• State laboratory certification is required for roles in Nevada only.
• CMA certification from an approved recognized certifying body is required for roles in South Carolina only.
