PRN Medical Assistant

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States; onsite

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare examination rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review medical information, collect updated health data, take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations under provider direction and written orders.
• Support patient scheduling, check-in and check-out, referrals, specialist visits, medical record requests, documentation, and care coordination.
• Process test results, communicate results as directed, and conduct patient outreach to improve engagement.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is preferred and required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
