Focus on automating selection tools with scripts, leading complex projects, designing data center and district heating systems, and coordinating sales, engineering, and fulfillment stakeholders.
Location: Helsinki, Finland; most work is performed at the Trane office, with frequent design engineer and customer site visits

What you will do
- Select and size complex thermal system equipment, including chillers and heat pumps.
- Design hydraulic and control systems incorporating Trane equipment.
- Lead complex thermal system pre-sales projects and coordinate with sales engineers, project managers, and order fulfillment teams.
- Collaborate with design engineering firms, manage relationships, and develop new consultant partnerships.
- Use advanced thermal system selection and design tools, and write simple scripts to automate and improve them.
- Perform energy, investment, and CO2 reduction calculations while supporting customer satisfaction, market analysis, and technical events.
Requirements
- Technical university degree in mechanical, electrical, energy, aeronautic engineering, or a similar field.
- Proven experience in thermal systems engineering, preferably in HVAC, chillers, or heat pumps.
- Experience with selection and design software and the ability to program simple scripts.
- Project management skills and practical project experience.
- Knowledge of thermal system applications such as district heating heat-recovery plants, industrial refrigeration and heating, or data center cooling.
- Communicative Finnish and English are required. Strong communication, influencing, organizational, and independent-working skills are also expected.
