Radiology School Program Director (Radiologic Technology)

Location: Remote, Texas-based, with regular travel to partner sites; reliable access to a major airport is required. Travel is expected approximately once monthly in 2026 and may increase to up to 50% starting in 2027.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the design and launch of a Radiologic Technology A.A.S. program leading to ARRT (R) certification eligibility.
• Support curriculum development and create clinical playbooks covering supervision, competency progression, and rotation quality.
• Own completion, graduation, ARRT credentialing exam pass-rate, and job-placement outcomes.
• Lead ABHES accreditation compliance, annual reporting, substantive change filings, and site-visit readiness.
• Build, onboard, observe, and develop didactic faculty, lab instructors, and clinical preceptors.
• Travel to partner sites for feasibility assessments, lab observations, preceptor development, and accreditation visits; optionally instruct the first cohort.

Requirements

• Must be based in Texas and able to travel regularly to partner sites.
• Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification and current Texas GMRT certificate from the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology.
• Prior Program Director experience for an accredited radiography program.
• At least 5 years of clinical radiography experience.
• Familiarity with JRCERT and ABHES accreditation requirements and regulatory compliance processes.
• Strong data and technical literacy, with the ability to prioritize leading indicators and interventions.

Nice to have

• Experience building or launching an academic program from the ground up.
• Experience partnering with employers or health systems on workforce pipelines.
• Advanced degree such as an MEd or MHA, or certifications beyond ARRT R.T.(R).
• Experience in a fast-growing startup or EdTech environment.
