Medical Assistant (Primary Care)

Location: UT-Midvale, United States; onsite healthcare center role

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support a primary care physician and provide a high-quality patient and guest experience.
• Escort patients, prepare and stock exam rooms, collect health-history updates, and record accurate medical information.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical-record requests, referrals, specialist visits, and outside care.
• Process test results and communicate them to patients through approved channels.
• Participate in patient outreach, identify gaps in care, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Experience with phlebotomy is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Midvale, Utah.
