What you will do
- Support weekly and monthly financial reporting, KPI development, and performance tracking.
- Coordinate month-end close activities and monitor financial results against KPIs.
- Lead recurring financial reviews and forecasting processes with transportation, supply chain, and cross-functional leaders.
- Analyze variances, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers to support planning and decision-making.
- Extract and analyze data using SQL, Hyperion, and Tableau.
- Build financial models, synthesize large datasets, and recommend process efficiency improvements while maintaining data integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant finance experience.
- Advanced SQL and Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, SUMIFS, and pivot tables.
- Strong financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, budgeting, KPI, and variance analysis experience.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, handle ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
Nice to have
- Supply chain or logistics finance experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial statements.
- Experience with Tableau, Hyperion SmartView, or Oracle ERP.
- Experience with e-commerce or retail business models.
- MBA and/or CPA.
