Assurance Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Dallas, office-based; travel as needed based on client assignments.

Salary: $89,800–$170,500 annually, plus discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.

What you will do

• Coordinate audits of financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.
• Assess engagement risk and design, communicate, and monitor audit procedures.
• Manage multiple engagement teams, supervise audit seniors and supervisors, and review work products.
• Identify technical accounting matters, assess their impact on financial statements, and coordinate with specialists.
• Maintain client relationships, address concerns, support business development, and manage project profitability.
• Coach staff, provide performance feedback, support training, and maintain knowledge of GAAP and firm standards.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or an equivalent degree.
• CPA or CA certification.
• 5+ years of current or recent experience in public accounting.
• At least 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience across multiple engagements.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring associates.
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and FASB regulations, with a record of building profitable client relationships.

Nice to have

• Experience auditing healthcare and related organizations.
• Experience directing and deploying staff and senior associates across multiple simultaneous engagements.
