Government Relations Intern

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; onsite at the hirify.global site

Salary: $20–30/hour, depending on qualifications

What you will do

• Summarize legislation and regulations in memo form.
• Create biographies and briefing materials for meetings with policymakers.
• Support strategies aimed at positive policy or financial outcomes.
• Work with the Government Relations and Law Department teams on projects affecting hirify.global operations and reputation.
• Support efforts to secure incentives for capital projects.
• Assist with intellectual property and trade compliance matters as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student eligible to participate in a university co-op program.
• Interest in US state and federal politics and legislative and regulatory processes.
• BA degree or ongoing studies in a relevant field such as government, political science, or criminal justice.
• Availability for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., January through June.
