Communications Intern

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global corporate office in Pella, Iowa, USA

What you will do

• Support the creative development and refinement of internal communication channels and creative services.
• Create and edit written, oral, visual, audio-visual, and web communication materials.
• Develop graphics, photography, and other content that advances organizational communication goals.
• Collaborate with business segments and support functions to maintain regular employee communications.
• Plan company meetings and employee events, identify story ideas, and collect editorial information.
• Maintain communication graphics, photography, and audio-visual files.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or Marketing.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic computer skills and the flexibility to balance multiple tasks.
• Day-to-day work must be performed onsite at a hirify.global campus; occasional offsite work may be discussed with the manager.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience.
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, design software.
