Indirect Procurement Intern (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. Full-time, on-site work is required for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning January, February, or March 2027.

Salary: $28 USD per hour in California.

What you will do

• Support the Supply Chain Team with market analysis and actionable cost-optimization solutions.
• Help maintain service quality while identifying procurement improvements.
• Apply supply chain, business, engineering, and industry concepts to real operational challenges.
• Collaborate with mentors, supervisors, and cross-functional employees in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead development projects with increasing independence and provide progress updates through regular one-to-one meetings.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Have at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Have at least 3 months of corporate experience in supply chain.
• Be able to work full-time on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks in Long Beach, California.
• For work in U.S. offices, meet applicable ITAR authorization requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylum status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.5 or above and 6 or more months of corporate supply chain experience.
• Data analytics experience and familiarity with PowerBI.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Infor LN.
• Experience with Python, Six Sigma, advanced Excel, or supply chain purchasing and procurement.
