C# Developer (.NET)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; candidates from California, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, or New York will not be considered.

Salary: $85,389–$116,975 per year

What you will do

• Plan, design, integrate, test, deploy, operate, and maintain software systems and subsystems.
• Develop and support full-stack enterprise applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Build reusable solutions within Agile frameworks and support applications in production.
• Implement unit testing, test automation, modularization, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues, participate in daily stand-ups, conduct code reviews, and document software designs.
• Use Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, and related development tools while mentoring junior developers.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional software development experience using .NET technologies, with experience delivering complex enterprise applications.
• Bachelor’s degree with eight or more years of experience, master’s degree with five or more years, or Ph.D. with three or more years in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, object-oriented programming, design patterns, MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms, version control, CI/CD, unit testing frameworks, Agile methods, DevOps, infrastructure as code, and web application security.
• U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI X.12 medical claims, including 837, 834, and 277 transactions.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.
