Senior Backend Golang Engineer

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Golang backend services, RESTful APIs, and stable evolving data contracts.
• Build asynchronous, event-driven communication with reliable messaging, idempotency, error handling, and backward compatibility.
• Develop distributed systems and microservices focused on scalability, resilience, maintainability, and production performance.
• Design secure APIs and integrations using authentication, authorization, and identity-management best practices.
• Build integrations with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Genesys Cloud, and other enterprise platforms.
• Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and automated unit and integration testing.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend development expertise in Golang.
• Solid understanding of Golang concurrency, asynchronous workflows, event-driven architectures, and message handling with Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
• Experience with AWS, cloud-native architectures, microservices, distributed systems, and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, API and event-schema evolution, backward compatibility, and secure API design.
• Strong commitment to automated testing, including unit and integration tests.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, TypeScript, Protobuf, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or other monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with Keycloak, Auth0, Okta, or similar identity and access-management solutions.
