Senior Go Developer (Fintech/Crypto)

Location: Fully remote from anywhere in the world

What you will do

• Build new Go backend services and improve existing CHW Services products.
• Integrate external providers through REST and internal services through gRPC and Kafka.
• Refactor legacy services to reduce support costs, simplify architecture, remove technical debt, and improve test coverage.
• Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and security for financial flows.
• Support production systems, investigate incidents, and track operation lifecycles end to end.
• Provide technical mentorship within the team.

Requirements

• Production experience with money operations in fintech or crypto, including holds, debits, credits, balances, transaction lifecycles, and reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of safe money storage and movement, including decimal precision, operation keys, idempotency, consistency, and auditability.
• Strong production experience with Go, PostgreSQL, gRPC, REST, and Kafka.
• Experience applying Saga, compensation, distributed transactions, outbox, idempotent consumers, and reconciliation loops in financial microservices.
• Advanced PostgreSQL and Kafka knowledge, including transactions, isolation levels, locks, indexes, query analysis, partitions, consumer groups, offsets, rebalancing, delivery guarantees, and ordering.
• Active use of AI agents in development, with practical knowledge of spec-driven workflows and harness building.
