Epidemiologist, Vaccines and Infectious Diseases (FSP Sponsor Dedicated)

Location: Remote, with candidates preferably based in Spain, Portugal or Eastern Europe

What you will do

• Conduct literature reviews, scientific summaries, data cleaning, code look-ups, and quality control activities for real-world evidence and epidemiology studies.
• Contribute to abstracts, manuscripts, posters, scientific summaries, analysis planning documents, and table shells.
• Provide rapid responses to epidemiology and safety information requests.
• Coordinate safety requests, data requests, timelines, study documentation, trackers, and other operational resources.
• Monitor vendor deliverables, support oversight across studies or therapeutic areas, and identify operational risks or delays.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists, programmers, clinicians, regulatory and safety colleagues, vendors, and other scientific partners.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field required; MPH minimum. PhD in Epidemiology preferred.
• Experience in applied epidemiology or scientific operations.
• Experience in vaccines and/or infectious diseases strongly preferred; vaccine effectiveness research experience is desirable.
• Intermediate understanding of epidemiologic methods and strong analytical, organizational, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently complete scientific and operational tasks, identify and escalate risks, and collaborate with programmers and cross-functional partners.
• Remote candidates should preferably be based in Spain, Portugal or Eastern Europe.
