Automotive Senior Technician

Bridgestone Retail Operations, part of hirify.global, operates company-owned automotive service stores across North America.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
• Perform automotive maintenance and tire repairs to specification.
• Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to non-technical customers.
• Assist with and train technicians and mechanics on technical activities.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three areas from A1–A8 within the first two years.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid automobile driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brake and hydraulic systems and/or steering, suspension, and alignments.
• Experience with general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state, and local certifications or licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people, with reading, writing, and math skills.
• Preferred: three years of automotive repair experience, a vocational-technical program, or demonstrated skills through assessments or certifications; A.S.E. certification in at least one A1–A8 area is also preferred.
