Maintenance Shop Technician C (Diesel Equipment)

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under the supervision of a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager.
• Inspect vehicle systems and identify equipment issues or sources of malfunctions using appropriate tools.
• Change oil, replenish fluids, adjust equipment, replace tires, and complete light repairs.
• Perform basic electrical work, including light replacement.
• Complete applicable company training and other assigned maintenance duties.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program and ASE T8 Preventive Maintenance certification are helpful but not required.
