What you will do

• Support process design documentation and coordinate deliverables with architects, engineers, designers, and external project members.
• Perform engineering calculations, including heat transfer, pressure drop, material and energy balances, fluid mechanics, and basic sizing calculations.
• Develop process engineering deliverables such as block and process flow diagrams, equipment lists, equipment arrangements, datasheets, utility summaries, and P&IDs.
• Contribute to studies, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Support field installation teams and perform construction site observations.
• Manage work across concurrent projects and solve basic-complexity problems under the direction of experienced engineers.

Requirements

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or bioprocess engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience in a design firm setting.
• Fundamental experience with process modeling, material and energy balances, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and discipline design calculations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and engineering software for drafting, process modeling, and calculations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-discipline project teams.
• Fundamentals of Engineering exam registration or completion is preferred.
