Capital Markets Associate - Derivatives Products Group (Interest Rate Derivatives)

Location: In-office role based in Pittsburgh, PA; New York, NY; Cleveland, OH; or Philadelphia, PA

Base salary: $75,000–$150,000 per year, plus incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Support the marketing and execution of interest rate hedging solutions for corporate and institutional clients.
• Generate trade ideas, prepare pitch books and market commentaries, and provide indicative pricing.
• Conduct swap portfolio analytics, peer analyses, financial research, and client-specific risk management analysis.
• Manage client onboarding, including credit lines, ISDA documentation, trade confirmations, and internal approvals.
• Coordinate with Trading, Corporate Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Foreign Exchange, Treasury Management, legal, credit, and settlements teams.
• Support post-trade follow-ups, business development, and client relationship management.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience and a bachelor's degree or comparable combination of education and experience.
• Experience in derivatives, fixed income, securities sales, or capital markets.
• Direct experience marketing or executing interest rate derivatives, including swaps, swaptions, caps, floors, cross-currency swaps, or Treasury locks.
• Understanding of derivatives markets, fixed-income derivative pricing, ISDA documentation, and credit risk concepts including CVA, DVA, and FVA.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• This is an in-office position, and hirify.global will not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of global macro markets and market developments.
• Familiarity with trading strategies, investment strategies, corporate finance, and financial accounting.
• Relevant securities licenses, including SIE, Series 7, and Series 63, obtained within the specified period after employment.
