Collector (Credit & Collections / Shared Services Operations) (m/w/d)

What you will do

• Manage collections for an assigned customer portfolio, including overdue invoices, payment commitments, and blocked accounts.
• Monitor receivables through aging analysis, balance reviews, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
• Work with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve payment issues and customer disputes.
• Prepare collection trackers, payment schedules, reports, forecasts, and supporting financial documentation.
• Support month-end closing, reconciliations, reporting, internal controls, and SOX activities.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation, digitalization, standardization, cross-training, and Shared Services transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Credit & Collections, Accounts Receivable, Finance, or Accounting.
• Working proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting and posting processes, including transaction tracing and discrepancy investigation.
• Fluent English and excellent German language skills required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, and cross-functional working skills.
• Experience supporting German insolvency cases is advantageous.
