Group Manager (Platform Engineering)

What you will do

• Lead the Developer Experience and Cloud Platform teams, with responsibility for direction, development, and people management.
• Define and improve developer experience through better workflows, build systems, CI/CD, source control, development environments, and internal tooling.
• Evolve shared cloud infrastructure and platform services, including infrastructure automation, container platforms, cloud governance, observability, and reliability engineering.
• Enable secure-by-default software delivery through quality practices, vulnerability management, dependency governance, compliance automation, and security tooling.
• Establish platform metrics, manage the Platform Engineering backlog, and shape the long-term vision with engineering leaders, architects, and product teams.
• Support responsible adoption of AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.

Requirements

• Experienced engineering leadership with strong people-management and team-building skills.
• Solid experience with CI/CD, build systems, developer workflows, source control, engineering productivity, and internal developer tooling.
• Ability to create alignment, set direction, communicate clearly, and drive change across a complex engineering organization.
• Experience collaborating in agile, cross-functional environments with engineering leaders, architects, product teams, and security specialists.
• The teams include 13 people in Denmark and Ukraine; the role manages 7 people in Denmark.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, platform engineering, Internal Developer Platforms, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, or container platforms.
• Experience with security and quality tooling, dependency scanning, or AI developer enablement initiatives.
