TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer - Platform Automation (C#/CI/CD/Azure): Building and continuously enhancing end-to-end delivery pipelines for SimCorp Dimension cloud products with an accent on build automation, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and reliability. Focus on designing scalable platform tooling, integrating Azure services and CI/CD systems, and mentoring engineers while improving software delivery for hundreds of developers.

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; hybrid workplace model

What you will do

  • Design, develop, test, and continuously enhance applications and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Build and improve the SimCorp Dimension Delivery Pipeline, enabling automated development, testing, and release of consistent cloud product versions at scale.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Product Owner, System Architect, and stakeholders to translate product vision into technical requirements.
  • Apply engineering practices across the full development lifecycle, including design reviews, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Research tools and frameworks, improve reliability and capability, and contribute to the technical vision.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level colleagues and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

  • Experience developing software with modern programming languages, particularly C#.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and build automation.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, unit testing, integration testing, and TDD.
  • Experience with Git, TeamCity or a similar CI/CD tool, Azure, PowerShell, Cake, and Kotlin.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Experience working in agile and international environments and guiding junior developers is expected.

  • Security awareness and knowledge of software security best practices.
  • Performance optimization and scalability experience.
  • Technical documentation skills.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, Terraform, or Bicep.
