What you will do

• Lead a team of four engineers, balancing 60% hands-on technical work with 40% people management and growth.
• Own the technical direction and architecture for the entire media path across hirify.global hardware, desktop, and mobile apps.
• Solve complex integration challenges with platforms like Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Webex.
• Drive the stability and performance of screen sharing protocols including Miracast and AirPlay.
• Mentor team members, conduct 1:1s, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Ensure consistent product behavior and real-time quality across all supported surfaces and network conditions.

Requirements

• Must be based in Europe for remote work or able to work hybrid from Copenhagen.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Staff Engineer with a desire to manage people.
• Deep expertise in real-time media, specifically WebRTC and streaming protocols.
• Strong background in cross-platform development across browser, desktop, and mobile.
• Experience integrating software with third-party platforms and native media APIs.
• Ability to balance hands-on architectural work with team leadership responsibilities.
