Senior Platform Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Own the AWS account model, including provisioning, service control policies, region policies, tagging, and naming conventions.
• Manage identity and access across the full lifecycle and lead the move to single sign-on.
• Build centralized secrets management with automated rotation for service credentials.
• Define infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management, container security, and dependency enforcement.
• Design secure and reliable infrastructure for AI agents connecting to internal systems, with controlled permissions and auditability.
• Standardize observability, CI, DNS, certificates, domains, backup, disaster recovery, and cloud cost controls across products.

Requirements

• Deep production experience with AWS, especially Organizations and service control policies.
• Production infrastructure-as-code experience; Terraform is used at hirify.global.
• Experience with production containers, Docker, and orchestration on AWS.
• Practical identity and access management experience, including single sign-on; Auth0 experience is useful.
• Experience with infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management, observability, and CI systems.
• Comfort with Node.js or Bash and with defining infrastructure standards for other teams.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting ISO 27001 or a similar compliance or certification effort.
• Experience working with regulated customers.
• Ability to explain infrastructure trade-offs and costs to non-infrastructure stakeholders.
