TL;DR
Senior Manager, Medical Affairs Operations - Europe & Middle East (Biotech): Connecting Global, Regional, and Country Medical Affairs teams across Europe and the Middle East while translating Medical strategy into measurable operational execution with an accent on planning, CRM, insights, financial management, compliance, and digital enablement. Focus on building regional operating models, coordinating budgets and vendors, developing KPI dashboards, and applying AI-enabled tools to improve Medical Affairs workflows and decision-making.

Location: Warsaw, Poland; 70/30 work model with 70% in-office

What you will do

  • Connect Global, Regional, and Country Medical Affairs teams across Europe and the Middle East.
  • Implement and improve global Medical Affairs Operations models, processes, systems, standards, and shared capabilities.
  • Translate Medical strategy into regional and country plans covering budgets, resources, milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate Field Medical, CRM, medical insights, KAB measurement, Medical Grants, launch readiness, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Manage financial and resource operations, including forecasting, budget tracking, contracting, purchase orders, invoicing, vendors, and reconciliation.
  • Develop operational plans, KPI dashboards, reporting, business reviews, and AI-enabled process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, public health, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences experience, including Medical Affairs Operations or related functions.
  • Experience managing complex initiatives across functions, countries, and stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of Medical Affairs planning, Field Medical, insights and measurement, financial and resource management, governance, and compliance.
  • Experience with budget planning, forecasting, contracting, vendor management, process improvement, and regional execution.
  • English proficiency is required for global collaboration. Familiarity with FDA, EMA, GDPR, legal, regulatory, and data privacy requirements is expected.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, public health, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in global organizations and cross-regional collaboration.
  • Experience with medical information management systems, project management tools, product launches, lifecycle management, and medical affairs vendor projects.
