TL;DR
Medical Affairs Manager (Advanced Surgery, Anesthesia) (Medical Affairs/MedTech): Developing and executing medical strategies and initiatives for Advanced Surgery and Anesthesia portfolios across the CEEMEA region with an accent on scientific evidence, medical education, and stakeholder engagement. Focus on leading KOL discussions, reviewing clinical literature, supporting surgical wetlabs and anesthesia simulations, and delivering compliant medical activities across multiple countries.

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid role with office-based work, external stakeholder engagement, hospital operating-room visits, and travel across the CEEMEA region

Salary: Minimum 240,000 PLN annually, plus potential bonus, benefits, and long-term incentives

What you will do

  • Develop and execute medical strategies and tactical plans for the Advanced Surgery and Anesthesia portfolios across CEEMEA.
  • Respond to and document medical information inquiries and review scientific materials, including presentations, brochures, reports, and white papers.
  • Deliver and moderate lectures, webinars, trainings, and other internal and external medical education programs.
  • Build scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders, scientific societies, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute advisory boards, investigator-initiated research, roundtables, symposia, sponsorships, and masterclasses.
  • Attend congresses, conduct hospital and operating-room visits, and support surgical wetlabs and anesthesia simulations.

Requirements

  • Medical degree in Surgery or Veterinary Medicine, or a strong clinical background as a Surgical Nurse.
  • Surgical and/or anesthesiology expertise is required.
  • Strong understanding of relevant disease states, clinical pathways, therapies, clinical guidelines, and medical literature.
  • Ability to evaluate scientific evidence, translate complex data into clear insights, and support evidence-based decisions.
  • Experience collaborating across functions, countries, and cultures and engaging healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal English; willingness to spend more than 40% of working time outside the office and travel across the CEEMEA region.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Education, Clinical Affairs, or a related healthcare function.
  • Additional regional language skills.
