Test Automation Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; onsite role within the local ComLIMS-Quotation development team.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and execute automated test suites for the ComLIMS-Quotation web application and related services.
• Cover functional and non-functional requirements across acceptance and deployment stages, targeting an automation ratio of 80%.
• Perform exploratory testing alongside automated UI testing to identify usability issues, visual defects, hidden defects, and functionality gaps.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery using Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps practices.
• Develop test strategies and plans, refine acceptance criteria, and perform root cause analysis for defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, development managers, business analysts, product owners, and distributed teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least three years of software testing experience with a strong focus on automation and proven manual testing skills.
• Proficiency in test automation with an object-oriented language such as Java or C#, and experience with Selenium or WebdriverIO.
• Understanding of acceptance, regression, sanity, exploratory, REST, and ESB testing, including automated testing of web services.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting across application layers, refining acceptance criteria, and analyzing defects and performance issues.
• Fluent English and conversational Vietnamese are required for written, spoken, and local communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with BDD tools such as SpecFlow, Reqnroll, JBehave, or Cucumber.js.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Shell, Bash, JavaScript, TypeScript, Git, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or Jenkins.
• Experience testing DDD-based backend services and working with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling, including performance-test analysis and bottleneck identification.
• Conversational Mandarin or French proficiency.
