New Product Manufacturing Engineer II Senior (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Bangalore, India. Onsite manufacturing role with approximately 20% travel. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Create and release part numbers, maintain part attributes, and protect product configuration integrity.
• Develop and maintain BOMs for medium-complexity assemblies and act as the focal point for BOM-related changes.
• Execute engineering changes, configuration updates, option packages, and supporting documentation.
• Develop manufacturing build and test documentation, including Operation Method Sheets.
• Lead managed builds, support manufacturing readiness, and provide floor support for assigned assemblies.
• Drive root-cause and corrective-action activities while coordinating with engineering, PLM, manufacturing, sourcing, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.

Requirements

• Experience with bill of materials and product structure management.
• Knowledge of part-number creation, engineering release, change control, and configuration management.
• Experience with new product introduction, manufacturing readiness, managed builds, and manufacturing issue resolution.
• Ability to create manufacturing build and test documentation and perform inventory impact analysis.
• Basic knowledge of CAD, Digital Mock-Up, and virtual build processes.
• Ability to analyze technical issues, coordinate projects, communicate clearly, and work independently with moderate guidance.
