TL;DR
Oracle DBA (Exadata) (Oracle/RAC/Exadata): Administering and optimizing mission-critical Oracle database environments across production and non-production systems with an accent on high availability, disaster recovery, automation, and performance tuning. Focus on operating RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and Exadata environments, solving complex Linux/UNIX production issues, and supporting reliable database services through on-call and on-site work.
Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid work with on-site support required

What you will do
- Administer, maintain, and support Oracle 12c and 19c databases across production and non-production environments.
- Operate highly available database platforms using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, OEM, Exadata, and Multitenant technologies.
- Perform installations, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations, backups, recovery, duplication, and data masking.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, capacity, availability, and operational reliability.
- Automate database administration with Ansible, Python, Shell, and Bash across Linux/UNIX environments.
- Resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, collaborate with infrastructure and application teams, and participate in on-call support.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, including Oracle 11g, 12c, or 19c.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Exadata, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with database performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, patching, lifecycle management, and Linux/UNIX administration.
- Experience with Ansible, Python, Shell scripting, Bash, and Delphix for database duplication and data masking.
- Availability for hybrid/on-site work in Bucharest and on-call support is required.
- English proficiency is required for written and spoken communication.
Nice to have
- Experience with Oracle Multitenant CDB/PDB environments.
- Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate.
- ITIL Foundation knowledge or certification.
- Knowledge of French.
