Cisco NSO Engineer

Location: Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania; remote/office work

What you will do

• Install, configure, and support Cisco NSO in a highly available enterprise environment.
• Develop NSO service packages, workflows, and reusable automation use cases for infrastructure provisioning.
• Integrate Cisco NSO with a Red Hat-based Cloud Management Platform and third-party enterprise systems.
• Automate network, security, virtualization, and load-balancing service provisioning.
• Build and maintain integrations with Cisco ACI, VMware vCenter, Cisco FMC, F5 BIG-IP, and core network infrastructure.
• Test and troubleshoot automation workflows, create technical documentation, and provide knowledge transfer to engineering and operations teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing Cisco NSO and network automation solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Cisco NSO administration, service package development, Python scripting, and YANG data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, NETCONF, RESTCONF, and network automation frameworks.
• Experience integrating network, security, virtualization, and infrastructure management platforms.
• Working knowledge of Cisco ACI, VMware vCenter, Cisco FMC, and F5 BIG-IP.
• Understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, VRFs, ACLs, NAT, Layer 2 and Layer 3 data center services, Git, and collaborative engineering workflows.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, cloud management platforms, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, or DevOps practices.
• Cisco DevNet, CCNP, Cisco NSO, or a comparable certification.
