TL;DR
Senior Associate Manufacturing (GMP/Lean Manufacturing): Ensuring operational continuity and standardized syringe manufacturing operations in a 16x5 shift environment with an accent on safety, quality, compliance, batch documentation, and manufacturing performance. Focus on leading cross-functional initiatives, managing deviations, improving equipment reliability, and driving Kaizen, A3, 5S, and continuous improvement projects.

Location: Dublin, Ireland; onsite manufacturing role on a 16x5 shift supporting 24/7 operational continuity.

Salary: €56,428.95–€76,345.05 per year, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

  • Maintain safety, quality, compliance, training, SOP, and GMP standards across syringe manufacturing operations.
  • Review paper and electronic batch documentation, support timely product release, and contribute to regulatory audits and deviation investigations.
  • Provide shift coverage, problem-solving, project support, staffing coordination, and escalation of issues affecting manufacturing delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and Work Centre Team alignment with engineering, process development, maintenance, and manufacturing teams.
  • Improve equipment reliability and manufacturing performance using Gemba, PPoF, error management, and human performance tools.
  • Lead lean improvement activities including Kaizen events, A3 projects, 5S initiatives, and continuous improvement ideas.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a GMP environment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or biotechnology.
  • Working knowledge of aseptic or GMP manufacturing operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
  • Experience leading or influencing cross-functional teams and delivering team, site, and personal objectives.
  • Understanding and practical use of RFT techniques and lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Strong organizational, communication, team development, computer, and problem-solving skills; experience with Electronic Batch Records, PAS-X, or LIMS.
