Senior Technology Specialist, Vermilion Reporting (Fintech)

What you will do

• Monitor and advise clients on their Vermilion Enterprise Client Reporting environments.
• Automate client environments and design complex workflows covering data loads, data checks, calculations, data extracts, and reporting.
• Participate in change requests, software upgrades, and other non-BAU project activities.
• Integrate hirify.global systems using APIs, web services, automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues involving system architecture, data processing, software testing, application servers, and databases.
• Work with sales specialists, consultants, and clients to support daily operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a relevant area.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Interest in financial software, financial logic, and reporting methodologies.

Nice to have

• Stored procedure development and debugging, SQL performance tuning, and experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Application server setup with Tomcat or JBoss/WildFly.
• Experience with web services, APIs, XML, JSON, HTML, or scripting and programming languages such as shell, Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or VBA.
• Knowledge of financial instruments, financial reporting, Excel/VBA, Windows Servers, IIS, or SAML configuration.
