TL;DR
Sustainability Governance & Climate Manager (ESG/Climate Strategy): Leading sustainability governance, climate strategy, ESG reporting, regulatory compliance, and external sustainability engagement for electrical distribution systems that support electrified, automated, and connected products with an accent on CSRD, ESRS, climate risk, carbon neutrality, and sustainability data governance. Focus on coordinating cross-functional disclosures, managing assurance and sustainability assessments, and translating complex regulatory requirements into executive decisions and corporate action.
Location: Krakow, Poland — Equal Business Park; hybrid work with 47 remote days per year

What you will do
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of the corporate sustainability strategy and governance framework.
- Define the climate strategy, carbon neutrality roadmap, and Science Based Targets initiatives.
- Assess climate-related risks and opportunities and support their integration into business strategy.
- Monitor compliance with CSRD, ESRS, SEC Climate Disclosure, CBAM, and other emerging sustainability requirements.
- Lead ESG reporting governance, coordinate limited assurance activities, and manage sustainability disclosures across internal functions.
- Manage external assessments and ratings, respond to customer ESG requests, and prepare executive reports and dashboards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional experience in corporate sustainability, ESG reporting, climate strategy, or sustainability governance.
- Strong knowledge of ESG regulations and frameworks, including CSRD, ESRS, SEC Climate Disclosure, CBAM, GRI, and related standards.
- Experience with sustainability assurance, ESG data governance, sustainability ratings, and customer sustainability requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and project management skills.
- Professional proficiency in English and availability for the hybrid Krakow-based role are required.
