Industrial Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; onsite role with 20–30% travel

What you will do

• Lead complex industrial engineering and operations research projects to improve semiconductor productivity and factory efficiency.
• Assess current business processes and design, implement, and manage improvement initiatives using Lean Operations and Six Sigma.
• Analyze cycle time, asset utilization, output, capacity, staffing, and cost of ownership across semiconductor fab operations.
• Develop simulation, analytics, and operational models using hirify.global software and proprietary applications.
• Create continuous improvement roadmaps and oversee deployment across multiple functions.
• Coach Champions and Process Owners while leading cross-functional project teams and engaging customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3 years of continuous improvement experience and preferably 7 or more years in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong expertise in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, semiconductor operations, Lean Operations, and Six Sigma, including DMAIC and DFSS.
• Experience leading Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing or transactional projects with demonstrated financial results.
• Project management, change leadership, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Ability to present findings to executives and coach Champions and Process Owners.
