Mechatronics AIT Technician – Electrical & Mechanical Integration (Aerospace)

Location: 88 Friedrichshafen, Germany; mobile working is possible, while the role includes hands-on assembly and integration work.

What you will do

• Pre-assemble and integrate brackets, spacers, fastening systems, and other mechanical components.
• Install and route electrical components within complex system architectures.
• Integrate sensors, thermistors, heaters, accelerometers, and other test and measurement equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly in accordance with space-industry standards.
• Support verification, testing, and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

• Completed training in electrical engineering, such as technician training, or a comparable qualification.
• Hands-on experience with cabling and connection technologies, including crimping, clamping, and soldering.
• Knowledge of electrical integration, connectors, grounding systems, wiring, mechanical assembly tools, torque tools, and fastening systems.
• Experience handling measurement and test equipment, sensor systems, and temperature measurement tools.
• Strong communication skills in English are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ESA-certified processes for electrical and mechanical integration.
• German language skills.
