Radiation Test and Automation Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Munich, Germany. Relocation assistance is provided, including visa sponsorship where applicable.

What you will do

• Assemble radiation test PCBs for electronic components.
• Test assembled PCBs and debug circuits in the laboratory.
• Solder and adapt electronic parts when required.
• Automate radiation test setups, device control, data visualization, and test report generation.
• Attend radiation test campaigns at particle accelerator facilities when required.
• Analyze radiation effects on electronic circuits and create comprehensive test reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electronic science or engineering, physics, or embedded systems design.
• Hands-on experience with soldering and debugging electronic circuits.
• Basic knowledge of verification and validation for avionics and embedded software.
• Experience with Python for test automation, device control, and data visualization.
• Knowledge of digital and analog electronic design.
• Ability to work in Munich, Germany, or relocate to Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium Designer and LTSPICE or comparable software.
• Basic understanding of space avionics.
