Analytics & Insights Partner (Data Analytics), BU SMTR - 12 Month Contract

Location: Singapore; hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office

Contract duration: Temporary cover through December 2027

What you will do

• Act as a strategic commercial advisor for the Singapore, Malaysia, and Travel Retail business unit.
• Develop commercial analyses, track performance metrics, and identify growth opportunities and risks across pricing, promotions, and product mix.
• Build datasets and dashboards for commercial performance insights.
• Apply statistical modelling and forecasting to anticipate trends and inform business strategies.
• Translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead independent analytics initiatives, support test-and-learn experiments, and collaborate with regional and global colleagues on analytics innovation.

Requirements

• Experience in data analysis and commercial data insights roles.
• Intermediate expertise in Power BI, SQL, Python, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Experience with data modelling, exploratory analysis, statistical techniques, dashboard development, and dataset structuring.
• Strong understanding of market trends, performance drivers, and consumer behaviour.
• Ability to present insights and make clear, actionable recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently, influence decisions, and partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
