Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

What you will do

• Coordinate and schedule geotechnical subsurface evaluations.
• Perform boring mark-outs for utility clearance and supervise drill rig crews.
• Classify soils and log borings, test pits, and cores.
• Conduct floor level surveys and document distressed structures.
• Assign laboratory testing, compile test data, and assist with geotechnical reports.
• Perform calculations for shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, and settlement.

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil, Geological, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering principles.
• Entry-level profile; up to 2 years of geotechnical consulting experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice to have

• M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
• Prior geotechnical consulting experience.
