Engineer-In-Training - Land Development

Location: San Antonio, TX, USA, or Castroville, TX, USA. The position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.

What you will do

• Deliver land development engineering services for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects in Texas.
• Prepare engineering reports, civil construction plans, and permitting submittals.
• Perform stormwater analysis, site drainage design, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.
• Support private site development and public works projects, including street, drainage, and utility design.
• Collaborate within small to mid-sized and multidisciplinary design teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Engineering-in-Training certification or the ability to obtain it within one year of employment.
• Four years of relevant land development engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Texas land development, stormwater analysis, site drainage, and civil design standards.
• Practical experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, Hydraflow Express, Bentley storm suites, or similar hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Nice to have

• Central Texas market experience, especially in the San Antonio and Austin regions.
• Familiarity with local and state permitting agencies and development regulations.
• Experience with private site development and public works projects.
