Head of HR (Web3)

Location: Hybrid in Poland or the UAE; based in or willing to relocate to Poland or the UAE

What you will do

• Design and execute hiring strategies for technical and non-technical teams during rapid headcount growth.
• Build and lead the recruitment function, including sourcing, employer branding, structured interviews, and recruiting metrics.
• Partner with department heads on workforce planning, organizational design, compensation, benefits, and headcount budgeting.
• Develop culture, onboarding, career development, leveling, engagement, retention, and internal mobility programs.
• Advise the executive team, communicate strategic people priorities across the organization, and manage the HR/People team.
• Oversee performance management, manager and leadership development, HR systems, analytics, reporting, and compliance with local labor regulations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive HR or People experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience scaling an organization beyond 100 employees or in a comparable high-growth environment.
• Deep expertise in talent acquisition strategy and building recruiting functions from the ground up.
• Demonstrated success improving retention and engagement, with strong knowledge of compensation, performance management, and organizational development.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including board-level communication, with a hands-on builder’s mindset.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Poland or the UAE.

Nice to have

• Experience in crypto, Web3, fintech, or another fast-evolving regulated industry.
• Experience managing HR across multiple jurisdictions or international teams, particularly in Poland or the UAE.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or CIPD certification, or an advanced degree in HR, business, or organizational psychology.
