Network Engineer (AI Network & Security)

Location: Singapore; international and domestic travel may be required for on-site deployments and commissioning.

What you will do

• Deploy and operate low-latency, high-throughput Ethernet, InfiniBand, and RDMA networks for AI and HPC workloads.
• Optimise multi-node cluster communication, storage fabrics, fabric health, congestion, and link performance.
• Diagnose and resolve Layer 1–4 network issues, outages, performance degradation, and escalated incidents.
• Build network automation with Ansible, NetBox, Python, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement firewalling, segmentation, zero-trust architecture, 802.1X, NAC, MACsec, and multi-tenant workload isolation.
• Coordinate AI infrastructure deployments, vendors, technical documentation, commissioning, SLAs, and security response activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of network engineering experience, with a focus on network security.
• Experience with Linux host networking, complex technical projects, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving.
• Experience with zero-trust architecture, MACsec, 802.1X/NAC, and network segmentation in multi-tenant environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically for on-site deployments and commissioning.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA InfiniBand, Spectrum Ethernet, and RDMA over Converged Ethernet.
• Knowledge of Cumulus Linux, SONiC, SASE, Zero Trust Network Access, and Privileged Access Management.
• Security certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, Fortinet NSE, or Palo Alto PCNSE.
• Experience evaluating RoCEv2, DPUs/SmartNICs, quantum interconnects, switches, NICs, transceivers, or firmware.
