Program Manager – Digital (Website, Platforms)

Location: Detroit, Michigan, United States. Hybrid schedule with teams in the office an average of four days per week.

Salary: $60,000–$140,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead website development projects and content initiatives with designers, developers, content strategists, SEO specialists, and marketing teams.
• Own project roadmaps, budgets, resource allocation, scopes, deliverables, timelines, and sprint planning.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, optimize workflows, and ensure delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Coordinate stakeholder communication, project meetings, presentations, status reporting, and expectation management.
• Oversee quality assurance for website development and content creation, including content calendars, workflows, style guides, and governance.
• Mentor junior team members and support a collaborative working environment.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in web project management or content management, including complex website projects, content workflows, and migrations.
• Proven experience delivering successful website launches and content initiatives.
• Deep understanding of the website development lifecycle, web design principles, content strategy, information architecture, and SEO.
• Strong familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or AEM; HTML, CSS, JavaScript; and website analytics tools.
• Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies and project management platforms such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, and client management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with website accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Agency experience or experience in a similar collaborative setting.
