Technology Risk Director

Location: In-office role based in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Birmingham, Dallas, Denver, or Phoenix, United States

What you will do

• Lead the technology risk discipline and continuously enhance the technology risk management framework.
• Oversee the identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of risks related to cybersecurity, data privacy, IT operations, and emerging technologies.
• Implement technology risk strategy, governance structures, policies, standards, and accountability across technology functions.
• Direct risk reporting, metrics, analytics, Technology Committee materials, and executive-level governance communications.
• Lead a team of Technology Risk Managers, Advisors, Supervisors, and analytics resources.
• Drive strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, talent development, succession planning, and enterprise-wide risk initiatives.

Requirements

• University or college degree with advanced education such as a master’s degree, PhD, or relevant certifications; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Typically 8 or more years of industry-relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of management experience.
• Proven leadership experience with a large scope of responsibility.
• Strong written communication and verbal presentation skills.
• Knowledge of information security management, internal controls, IT environments, decision-making, planning, and organizational leadership.
