Cyber Threat Analyst Co-Op (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; onsite, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Salary: $20-$30 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor and assess security incidents, threats, and risks.
• Handle cyber incidents, document findings, and assist with remediation.
• Develop incident-response processes and procedures.
• Research vulnerabilities and analyze relevant threats.
• Build threat countermeasures and support vulnerability management.
• Help implement the cybersecurity roadmap and coordinate with Security Analysts.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student participating in a university co-op program.
• Studying Computer Science or Cyber Security and graduating in Spring 2027 or later.
• Available to work 40 hours per week from January through June 2027.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Strong understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape and an attacker mindset.

Nice to have

• Prior internship experience or academic work in cybersecurity or a related area.
