Activision 2027 Summer Internships - Analytics Engineering

Location: In-person in Santa Monica, California; applicants must currently reside in the US or be open to relocating to the US.

Salary: $20.00–$50.00 hourly in the United States.

What you will do

• Contribute to data pipelines, analytics services, and AI-powered data products.
• Partner with Marketing, Analytics, Engineering, Product, and Player Insights teams to solve business challenges through data.
• Transform business questions into trusted, scalable, and reliable data products, agentic systems, and AI-enabled tools.
• Test, validate, monitor, and troubleshoot data products to ensure accuracy, security, and value for end users.
• Apply data governance, observability, access controls, and engineering best practices to maintainable solutions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028, with availability for a 12-week internship starting in late May or mid-June.
• Coursework, research, personal projects, student work, or internship experience with Python and SQL.
• Foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, relational data, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Understanding of agents, skills, and agentic system deployment and maintenance.
• Exposure to Git, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, or collaborative development practices; a resume and code samples link are required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, or other distributed processing frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including storage, compute, networking, and IAM/security concepts.
